Diesel injectors UK is a firm dedicated to diesel. What we do is diesel fuel injection.

We pride ourselves  on working within our knowledge of the subject. There is always more to learn about diesel because it is constantly changing.

So we welcome your comments;
they can be about the website,
about diesel in general but most important tell us about your problems.
Please use the comment box at bottom of this page

My name is Andy Hewing and DIUK has been created and written because of my enthusiasm for diesel engines; how they work and the problems they give when they go wrong.

During the last 25 years I have worked with a number of diesel fuel remanufacturers; well known names in the industry like Darwin diesel, AP diesels, and Diesco.

diesel injectors and nozzlesIn that time I have learnt about the technical side of diesel and some of the running problems you get when things go wrong.

I grew up when rotary diesel was mainly fitted to lorries, buses and boats.

Gradually we saw the introduction of diesel into cars and vans. But times move on and now I am writing web-pages about common rail diesel in cars.

diesel fuel injection equipmentBack in the 1980’s I started my own company selling spares and components to reconditioning firms. These included engine re-conditioners, and diesel fuel injection re-manufacturers.

Supplying parts like fuel pumps and injectors

The car is changing and so is diesel
The world of the motor car has continually changed over the years; electronic ignition came along in petrol cars and the internal combustion engine became more reliable.

Diesel changed too;
Peugeot’s DW8 and HDi engines brought many improvements.
Gradually diesel, like petrol, came more and more under electronic control. Greater precision means quieter running, more mpg and lower emissions.
The aims of the website are:

  • to provide information on diesel topics
  • to provide advice about running problems
  • to gather interesting material from other websites

Common rail diesel – My aims

  • I aim to keep the website moving forward, keeping pace with changes.

We live in a digital age and today’s cars are under more and more digital control.

So diesel injectors has one foot in the past and the other stepping into the future.

A lot of exciting developments are occurring and I will try to write about some of them.

Exciting developments in hybrid cars, use of solar panels, battery technology, stop-start technology, predictive technology and so on.

Your views matter –  we welcome your comments and your support

Please contact us with your car problems and solutions.

Look forward to hearing from you soon.
